A new campaign for Maker’s Mark, centered on stylish young friends hanging out and having expertly mixed drinks at golden hour. We shot in Mexico City, and there were a ton of moving parts on this one. We needed a location with an open kitchen space and a rooftop that would allow late afternoon sun to hit it, with buildings the right distance away, and an unrecognizable skyline. You can imagine that was a near impossible ask, so we ended up styling out a studio into a kitchen, and using the rooftop for exteriors. Our shot list was heavy and included video, so scheduling was super important. We also wanted a consistent, natural-feeling light across all images and were forced to create artificial sunlight for both interior & exterior setups as weather became an issue on shoot day. All in, we had over 80 amazing people on set helping this come to life.
