A remote journey to the Marquesas Islands in the heart of the South Pacific. I traveled lightly with just two cameras and two lenses, as every other day we were on a small airplane, taking a boat across heavy seas, jumping in and out of pickup trucks on barely passable roads, or hiking steep inclines. With few people around, my attention focused on the primal nature of the land, the colors and textures, and the deeply simple way of life. As always, I am after the experience of being in a place.
