To get from here to there is to say nothing of the feeling. To miss the transformative power of seeing the world through the frame of a windshield at speed. Some of the deepest moments of clarity I’ve ever had have come on an open road with the windows down. I found myself continuing to photograph in and around the car, trying to understand how our cars and the experience of driving them changes us. I’ve begun to understand that the possibilities are endless. That there are more questions than answers. That in fact it’s beyond explanation, and this is the real beauty.
